Chemical Examiner Laboratory operates under the Health Department, Government of Sindh,
with a mandate to legally perform scientific analysis of evidentiary materials in criminal and civil investigations. Our laboratory supports a wide range of forensic testing, combining analytical expertise with modern instrumentation.
HISTORY
The Chemical Examiner Laboratory Sindh, located in Karachi, is one of the oldest and most significant scientific institute in the province, operating under the Health Department of the Government of Sindh. Established in 1950 as the Chemico-Bacteriological Laboratory, it was created to provide analytical and toxicological expertise to medico-legal and law enforcement agencies. Over the decades, it has remained an essential pillar in supporting the justice system.
